We hope that you enjoy checking the Dominical surf from the comforts of your home! The waves are usually the best from mid tide to high tide and then back to mid tide again but occasionally the low tide barrel sessions come together and can be epic!! January through March is when the waves are glassy and clean but typically small. April through August the waves are still very clean but the swells come rolling through one after another. Then September through December there is still plenty of swell but the weather can be unpredictable, but you can guarantee there will be plenty of empty peaks! For those of you that have been here I’m sure it will be great to be able to check in and watch everyone surfing and dream about your next trip. For those of you that have not been to Costa Rica, I hope this motivates you to come on down for a visit. If you are just learning to surf there are several great surf schools in town. If you already know how than the waves here will challenge you every day. When the surf is no good there are plenty of other things to do around Dominical including scuba diving, horseback riding, waterfall tours, yoga, canyoning, hiking, and even just relaxing by a pool……but the surf is usually good!! Really good!! Don’t forget to check the camera every day around 5 pm so you can watch the beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. I hope you enjoy the camera as much as we do.
